It's all about the burn!

A barre fitness class that fuses ballet, yoga and pilates to provide a fluid and calm dance conditioning class which is taught to an uplifting playlist. The class begins with a Vinyasa Flow inspired sequence designed to warm up your entire body, prepare you for the work to follow and to develop your upper body strength at the same time as moving fluidly through the sequence. This is followed by half an hour of classical barre exercises designed to work the glutes, quads and calves, 15 minutes of Floor Barre engaging the core and reinforcing the correct technique, alignment and placement whilst isolating the correct muscle groups to perform an action or movement,  we finish with a short section of Centre Barre to get you moving through the space before ending with the Black's Barre Reverance.

Centre Barre is taught completely from the centre of the studio, it is a complete body workout that is suitable for you even if you haven’t had any dance experience. The focus of the session is the core, the aim being to develop strength and stability from the centre outwards and to improve your posture, poise elegance and physique.

Escape to the Mat

floor-Barre consists of exercises based on Ballet steps performed lying and sitting on the floor. It's an ideal way to prepare and maintain the body, strengthen, lengthen and tone, whilst increasing your flexibility. Our class is suitable for all levels from beginners to professional dancers and is a great way of returning to exercise after an injury or time off.  

In this class you will improve your Ballet technique by working isolated parts of the body without tensing, as you might when standing, resulting in a safe and very effective workout. It is especially beneficial for Beginners.

Rise and Shine

This early morning class is designed to wake up your body and kickstart your metabolism leaving you feeling energised and ready for the day ahead. In this 45 minute fusion of ballet, yoga, and pilates you will work through a series of sequences and exercises that will help you to loosen up and stiff joints or muscles, strengthen your core and lengthen your limbs and back.
